Given that we’ve been designing and building digital platforms for over 15 years, you’d think that turning our attention to our own website would be a walk in the park. Well, it was – but only if the park in question is populated solely by babies throwing their toys out of their prams and toddlers having tantrums.
I’m joking, of course. In fact the process of redesigning and relaunching the Zone website was actually fun – sort of. But for the same reasons that hairdressers don’t cut their own hair and dentists don’t extract their own wisdom teeth, applying the principles which inform the work we do with some of the world’s biggest brands to our own website didn’t come without a few challenges.
But we’re nearly there, thanks. The version you’re looking at right now is very much a better one – and there’s much more to come. We’d love to hear any comments you have at this point, though, and we’ll be sure to incorporate any feedback into the development of the site. Either that or cry.
In the meantime we’re off to pour ourselves a very stiff drink…
